Software Overview:

GIS Asset Manager combines the latest maps, tools, and technologies available. Manage all your assets via a web site that is available to staff in the office as well as technicians in the field, so you are never out of touch with the system.

Work orders or reports are submitted by internal staff via a personal computer or mobile device, noting the condition, location and asset type. Reports can include a photo if desired. Public reporting is also available at your discretion, reporting on assets such as light poles.

Reports (Public & Internal):

Reports not only track damage, disrepair or faults in your assets but can also track things like potholes or graffiti that are not fixed assets but still need to be reported. Reports can be created by the general public as well as your internal staff. Public reports require verification before they are marked for resolution, so there are not friviolous reports.

Work Order Basics:

Work orders are submitted via a mobile device by a crew in the field or when reports are received in the office. If the device is capable, it locates the reporter's position automatically, optionally they can find their location on a dynamic map. The reporter can enter pertinent information and submit the report.

Once submitted, the work order is saved in the database, verified by a manager or sent diretly to technicians. Managers can send the report on to the asset owners (as is the case for municipal owned assets or assets owned by a power company, etc.).

When the issue is resolved, you can enter material and labor costs. The close date is noted in the system and the report is "closed".

Asset Collection:

Using a Trimble™ Global Positioning System (GPS) unit or smartphone device, you can collect asset types and locations. Bilerix can train you to use GPS units and teach you the best practices for data collection.

You can freely view our public demo site. The management demo requries a login and you will need to contact us for access.

From the public site, you can turn assets and business locations on and off. Enter reports on assets or create general reports by simply clicking on the map.

The management site allows you to manage reports (close, open and edit), add new assets, reverse gecode using an address, view photos, add and edit users and much more.
